EVERPV project partner ENEA presented PV recycling activities at SUM2026, the 9th Multidisciplinary Symposium on Circular Economy and Urban Mining, held from 20-22 May 2026 in Procida, Naples, Italy.
ENEA contributed to the symposium’s poster session with a presentation titled “Experimental recycling processes to recover materials from photovoltaic panels”. This contribution highlighted work linked to the recovery of materials from end-of-life solar PV panels, which is a key focus of the EVERPV project.
SUM2026 brought together researchers and stakeholders working on circular economy, urban mining, waste management, resource recovery and critical raw materials. ENEA’s participation provided an opportunity to share EVERPV’s activities with a wider scientific community and highlight the project’s role in advancing more circular approaches for the solar PV sector.
EVERPV aims to improve recycling processes for end-of-life solar PV panels, supporting the recovery and reuse of valuable materials such as glass, polymers and silver.
The EVERPV team thanks ENEA for sharing project-related work at SUM2026 and contributing to broader discussions on the circular economy and urban mining.
